It pisses me off when people “my age” think it’s hip to call themselves Buddhists, but they don’t practice or follow any of the Buddha’s guidelines.

One of my biggest writing pet peeves is when people use the phrase, “I’m going to try and do something.”
“Oh really? You’re going to try and then you’re going to do it? How do you know you’re going to successfully do it after you’ve tried?”
What should be said is, “I’m going to try to do something.”
